FAQ

Do you sell prints?
Yes! Check out my prints page here. The canvas and metal prints are ready to hang once they arrive at your door. The prints will require framing of some sort. If you have any questions or want to purchase a print which you don't see in the gallery, feel free to email me info@neverjordinary.com.

What gear and equipment do you use?
Short answer, check out What's In My Bag?. But here is a rundown:
Camera: Nikon D3400 (yep it's super basic and still takes great photos)
Lenses: Tamron 18-400mm f/3.5-6.3, Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-45 (Wide), Nikon 35mm f/1.8, Nikon 40mm f/2.8 (Macro)
Tripod: Joilcan 80-Inch
Action Cameras: GoPro Max, GoPro Hero 8
Drone: DJI Mavic Air 2
Gimbal: DJI Ronin SC
Photography Backpack: Thule Aspect

How do you travel with your gear?
Ever since I bought it in 2018, I ALWAYS travel with my Thule Aspect backpack. This thing holds my camera, 4 lenses, drone + 4 batteries, laptop, and my gopros. It has a buckle on the side to hold a tripod and very comfortable hip straps, great for hiking. You can take out your laptop and put a 2 liter water bladder and slide the hose through the openings along the backpack straps. My only suggestion to Thule would be to add some bungee straps on the back the bag (as you wear it). A perfect product other wise and I highly recommend it.

Any equipment I don't hike with will be packed in a carry-on bag if I'm flying.

What is the best camera for beginners?
Well, as I write this, my experience with camera variety is very limited. Having said that, I've heard great things about the Sony A6500 for aspiring photographers on a budget. But it's still $1,000 as of now, so if you're really looking for a bargain, go for the Nikon D3400. Please note: it does not shoot time lapse, but it created most of the photos you see on this website.

Is this your day job?
No, this is a day hobby. It's a passion project of mine, a passion which was not discovered until about 2017. For more info about my day job and a bit more about me, visit about. Also feel free to add me on LinkedIn.

How can you afford to travel so much?
It's not about affording it, it's about re-aligning your habits. We all have different spending and saving priorities. Whether it's clothing, cars, food, movies, video games, or a candy crush addiction, no one is the same. My priority is travel and everything involving it.

What's your favorite county you've visited?
That's tough, I can give you my top 3 though: Bolivia, Guadeloupe, and Iceland.

Who takes photos of you?
Unless otherwise noted with proper photo credit, all photos are shot by me!
